The awards ceremony took place at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and was attended by nearly 250 industry leaders. Memorable event entertainment included The Beatles, Ed Sullivan and Buddy Holly impersonators, and Las Vegas showgirls added to the festivities. Steve Slagle, the President and CEO of PPAI (Promotional Products Association International), addressed the large crowd.
